exercises using a mini ball, progressive modifications and variations to meet the needs of Pilates clients. The Pilates Matwork Level I course also presents the philosophy of
“AthensTrainers® Ultimate Pilates System®” and its unique Teaching Method in order to help you master the spirit of Pilates. This Mat course is open to
Certified TEFAA Teachers, TEFAA Students, Physiotherapists and Graduates of corresponding Foreign Universities Recognized by the Greek State according to the Greek Legislation.

This seminar is about the first level of a Pilates repertoire using a miniball. It is the basic program of the method. With this seminar, you can perform Pilates to the gym or personal training studio. It is a complete Mat Pilates Program with all the basic exercises, variations and modifications (for beginners, advanced and for those who have cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine problems).

The student receives a folder with informative material, pen, block, a miniball and Pilates Mat Programme Level I and Human Anatomy manuals with photos.
The knowledge of Anatomy is prerequisite for taking part in the training. If the student doesn’t want to attend it, there is an exam that allows us to evaluate his/her knowledge.

20 hours of teaching
A written and practical exam take place on the last day of the seminar. Upon passing the exams you will receive the “After Education” card (see above) which must be filled in and sent to info@athenstrainers.gr so that you can receive the AthensTrainers® Ultimate Pilates System® Mat Program Level I Certificate of Attendance.
Automatically student’s names are listed on our website as a Pilates Teacher / Instructor capable of teaching Mat Program Level I.
In case of exam failure, the student has the right to reexamined 3 times within three months. Each time costs 20 euros.
Along with the Certificate of Attendance, the Pilates Teacher/Instructor receives an e-mail with the AthensTrainers® Ultimate Pilates System® logo. The logo can be used to describe a lesson at the gym that works or owns, or in promotional t-shirts, rollups, or banners that accompany his/her Pilates lessons.
